Norwell outdoor balance equipment

Balance Equipment

Lack of balance and coordination skills is an unpleasant and dangerous experience, but in many cases training can regain confidence in this skill. Norwell's specially designed balance equipment trains the whole body to work together to maintain balance and stability. Through twisting and spring stepping, they work the muscles that are key to maintaining good balance. Norwell's apps will provide the instructions and record your progress as well as share with others. As people age, it is more important than ever to have a strong sense of balance to prevent falls and injury. Read more to see the balance equipment available from Norwell.

Twister - NW301

The Twister is from the balance equipment category. This station works on flexibility and coordination primarily in the lower back and hips. The tall platform has a seat in which the user rotates legs from side to side while holding onto the central curve for support. On the shorter platform the user stands and rotates the feet side to side while holding onto the central curve for support. The round platforms are rubber coated for slip resistance. All moving parts are sealed bearings. An attached colored band shows the category and how-to-use pictogram.

Springer - NW302

The Springer is from the balance equipment category. The station works very well at stimulating balance with its two coil spring steps. Knee and ankles are strengthened when the user stands on either spring and holds onto the central curve for support. With one soft and one hard spring, exercises may vary depending on the users ability. The round platforms are rubber coated for slip resistance. The springs are also covered in rubber to protect from the elements. An attached colored band shows the category and how-to-use pictograms.
